Payment and Insurance

  • Peek Psychiatry operates on an out-of-network basis for all insurance providers. We do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or other government-funded programs. Payment for services may be made via credit/debit card or cash. We will generate an invoice at the conclusion of your visit, which you may submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance plan directly to determine your reimbursement eligibility.

  • Paying privately for mental health care protects your confidentiality and prevents insurance companies from interfering with the quality and content of your treatment. It allows Dr. Peek to maintain a smaller caseload of patients and devote the necessary time to each patient to deliver excellent care. This ensures that your appointments will never be rushed, scheduling will be flexible, and Dr. Peek will be directly available to you for questions or concerns that may arise during the course of your treatment.

  • Our fees are comparable with other psychiatrists in the region. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details about fee schedule.

Medications

  • No, Dr. Peek does not prescribe controlled substances without an in person visit and a treatment plan that includes ongoing in person visits at a frequency determined by the clinical evaluation.
